30-min Skillet Lasagna
One pot dinners are my love language. Get this savory, cheesy lasagna from the stovetop to the table for your family in just 30 minutes!
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 24 oz jar marinara sauce
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tbsp italian seasoning
- 10 uncooked lasagna noodles, broke into small 2"in pieces
- 1 ½ cups 1% cottage cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat skillet over medium heat and add beef. Cook until browned and no longer pink. Discard drippings. Add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Then, add the sauce, broth and italian seasoning. Bring to a boil, add noodles then reduce heat to low. Cook covered for 15 minutes until lasagna noodles are softened.
- Stir in the cottage cheese and heat through. Then, remove skillet from heat and top with the mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Place lid back on the skillet and let sit for 5 minutes, until cheese melts.
