Tender chicken marinated in a sweet and savory honey balsamic glaze. Smoked to perfection!
In my opinion, smoker season is NEVER over. We absolutely loved our Traeger and now our Yoder. We actually have “Smokin’ Sundays” where my husband is in control of dinner. It’s probably my favorite night of the week!
Smoked Honey Balsamic Chicken Breasts
Tender chicken marinated in a sweet and savory honey balsamic glaze. Smoked to perfection!
Ingredients
- 2.5-3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts trimmed of fat
- 3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/3 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup olive or avocado oil
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp dijon mustard
Instructions
- Trim the chicken of fat and set aside. Place the rest of the ingredients into a bowl and whisk together until smooth. Reserve 1/2 cup and set aside in the fridge. Place the chicken breasts in a ziplock bag and pour the marinade over. Place in the fridge for 2-12 hours. 2. Start up your smoker and get it to 250 degrees. Remove the chicken from the marinade. Cook chicken breasts until you reach an internal temp or 165 degrees. While your chicken breasts are on the smoker, place a small saucepan over low-medium heat and allow the reserved marinade to deglaze. When your chicken is ready, brush the remaining glaze over. Serve warm. Enjoy!
