Cookies and Cream Rice Krispie Treats

Nostalgic favorite with a fun twist! These are fully loaded with mini marshmallows, Rice Krispie cereal, crushed Oreo and Hershey's cookies and cream bars.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 10 oz bag of mini marshmallows
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 12 regular sized Oreos, crushed or roughly chopped
  • (1) 4 oz XL Hershey's Cookies and Cream candy bar, diced

Instructions
 

  • Prepare a 9 x 13 inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Crush or roughly chop the Oreos and have the candy bar diced and ready to go. Save a few to spread on top of the mixture as well. Set these off to the side.
  • Coat a large saucepan with nonstick cooking spray. Combine the marshmallows and butter, cooking over low heat while stirring constantly. You will need to do this until it's completely melted and smooth. Add vanilla.
  • Remove from heat and QUICKLY add cereal and stir until well coated. Add the crushed Oreos. Lastly, fold in the diced candy bars. Move fast, as the mixture gets hard and difficult to stir pretty quickly. Spread mixture into prepared pan and press into a flat, even layer. Cool completely in the fridge for 1-2 hours. Remove and cut into bars. Store in an airtight container.
