A tasty and easy weeknight dinner that is a well-known Asian American favorite. Better than takeout and ready from start to finish in about 20 minutes!
1. Cook the noodles according to package directions in the large pot of boiling water. Add the broccoli in the last few minutes of cooking. Drain the noodles with the broccoli.
2. While the pasta cooks, add olive oil to a large skillet. Season steak with salt and pepper. Cook until browned. Discard drippings. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin, brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper flakes and cornstarch.
4. Add the noodles and broccoli to the skillet with steak. Pour the sauce mixture over the top and use tongs to toss noodles. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to thicken the sauce up. Serve warm. Enjoy!
