Method
- Combine the oats, chia seeds, protein powder, collagen peptides and apple pie spice in a medium sized bowl. Give 'er a good stir.
- Add the honey and almond butter. Stir with a spatula until well combined. Fold in the apple slices. Use a 1 tbsp cookie scooper and use your hands to roll into balls. Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Can also store in the freezer for up to 3 months in a freezer safe gallon sized ziplock.
Notes
Making your own chai spice? Combine the following:
2 tsp ground cardamon/2 tsp ground allspice/2 tsp ground nutmeg/4 tsp cinnamon/2 tsp ground cloves/6 tsp ground ginger.
Mix together and store in a spice container.
