Meat Lover's Pizza Gnocchi Skillet
A hearty, cheese-filled pasta that includes all your favorite pizza toppings! This is from stove to table within 30 minutes and is a weeknight dinner that your entire family will love.
- 2 strips bacon, cooked until crisp
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 16 oz italian sausage
- 24 oz marinara sauce, jarred
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 16 oz gnocchi
- 1/3 cup diced ham (optional)
- 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
- 12-15 slices pepperoni
1. Place a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Let warm up for 2-3 minutes and then pour in the olive oil. Brown the italian sausage and break up with a wooden spoon until crumbled. 2. Once browned, carefully add the marinara sauce, broth and gnocchi to the skillet. Bring to a low boil while stirring occasionally, then reduce heat and cover for 10 mintues, stirring occasionally until pasta is tender.3. Stir well before sprinkling over the ham pieces. Then, add the mozzarella evenly over the entire pot of pasta. Top with the pepperoni and bacon. 4. Place under the broiler on high for 3-4 minutes until cheese is melted and pepperoni is crisp.
