My stomach is growling just looking at these photos. It’s sooo easy and only requires a handful of ingredients!
Sea Salt Caramel Apple Bark
This is one of my favorite and simple Fall treats that I have made for my family in the past seasons. Sweet, savory and incredibly easy.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- (1) 11 oz bag caramel baking bits
- 2 Granny Smith apples, cored and diced *Dry with paper towel to get rid of excess moisture*
- 2 cups pretzels
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Line a cookie sheet with wax/parchment paper. Pour chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl and melt in 15-30 second increments, stirring between until the chocolate is smooth and completely melted.
- Using a spatula, spread the melted chocolate in a rectangular shape over the parchment paper. You don't want it too thick or thin.
- Place the pretzels over the melted chocolate. Pop in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
- While the chocolate/pretzels are chilling, melt the caramel bits in a microwave safe bowl. Again, do this in 15-30 second increments until smooth. Add the apples into the bowl and mix well. Take the sheet pan out of the freezer and place the caramel apple mixture over.
- Chill for another 15 minutes. Microwave the last 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and drizzle over the bark. Sprinkle with sea salt. Chill and cut into squares. Best served the day of. Enjoy!
