Savory twist on a classic breakfast staple! I made it EVEN better by adding fresh herbs, farm fresh eggs and topping it with savory meats. A delicious breakfast or brunch dish!
This is a dish that you can truly personalize. Add micro greens (arugula, spinach), make your eggs as desired and add whatever meat toppings tickle your fancy.
If you’re familiar with how French toast is made, this shouldn’t be a hard recipe to follow. Simply whisk together the first few ingredients in a shallow dish and soak both sides of the French bread.
Sizzle the bread over medium heat and viola! You have yourself savory French toast. Place your toppings on and drizzle olive oil over, if desired. I also topped with a little sea salt and cracked black pepper. Perfection!
